Note to bloggers, get your facts straight..

Seriously...how could anybody rationalize the word "leave" when in fact - Olson lost in 2005????

Uhhh no... Political parties are allowed to switch candidates when one has to drop out for personal reasons. Besides, it was an uncontested primary. Had Wysocki been the candidate, he would have won...not that it makes any difference. That is the replacement process. If Wysocki has to go through the regular process, then he needs 10 signature. Not a big deal. The TTDEM committee can provide that in..oh...about 10 seconds. It simply is not a big deal.

I think the bigger issue here, again, is to label Olson's 2 year absense from the board as being "on leave". I suppose yes, he "left" the board. However, it was not voluntary. A semantic difference perhaps...but a difference nevertheless.
